Ride departs to Starved Rock State Park (Oglesby, IL) hosted by Second City Scooter Society. Departs from hotel scooter parking area . A long country ride to a lovely state park southwest of the city. At the park, have lunch at the lodge or check out the park. (Note that this is an all-day ride that will miss most of the Scooterworks events.)

Return to Scooterworks Chicago for maintenance workshops, scooter demos, rally check-in, merch sales, and on-site tattoos!
6-7:30 pm
Free time: refresh at the hotel, visit poker run stops, and/or have dinner.

Concert at Martyrs’(3855 N. Lincoln) featuring The Handsome Devilz and The Crombies.
(No reg/check-in — Registered rallygoers will be on the guest list. Additional tickets ($10) are available from Martyrs’ while they last.)

Two ride options: 1) From Martyrs’ directly to hotel OR 2) Chicago’s famous “Midnight Ride,” taking riders through the streets of Chicago and ending back at the hotel

Banquet (at hotel) featuring dinner. Open only to those who pre-registered by Aug 14 – no walk-in registrations or guests. After food is served, we’ll open the room to all registered rallygoers for awards (concours, games, poker run) and the raffle, including the Bluesmobile raffle!

Parking garage ride-in movies, explore the fabulous Parkway Bank Park nightlife, or perhaps a casino excursion?
Sunday, August 31

Oak Trees and Coffees Ride departs, hosted by Mario and Julie. We’ll stop to fuel up, then ride through the north suburbs of Chicago with a coffee/breakfast stop and a bit of natural tranquility.
9:45-10:45 am
Oak Trees and Coffees Ride stop at Off the Wall Cafe (104 Main Street, Park Ridge).
11:50 am
Oak Trees and Coffees Ride ends at Emily Oaks Nature Center (4650 Brummel Street, Skokie).
12:30 pm (briefing at 12:15)
“Chicago World Food Tour” departs Emily Oaks Nature Center (4650 Brummel Street, Skokie), hosted by Vespa Club of Chicago. We’ll ride through a few of Chicago’s many cultural enclaves, with quick stops for snacks and shopping, or stop for a meal, and catch up with us later.
3 pm
Reggae Dance Party at DMen Tap (2849 West Belmont, Chicago), featuring Rust Belt Boss Reggae and F.C.S. Soundsystem DJ’ing classic reggae, ska, rocksteady, soul, and more. DMen offers fantastic Doner Kebab, Currywurst, Malört Ice Cream, and much more.
7 pm
“Hala Boi” ride departs DMen Tap (2849 West Belmont, Chicago) for Hala Kahiki (2934 River Road, River Grove). H-K is Chicago’s original tiki bar, dating back to 1964. For years the Slaughterhouse organizers have gathered here to wind down after the rally, this year since it’s so close to the hotel, we’re inviting everyone along!
